Please ensure you have eaten, and showered prior to your appointment. We recommend that you wear comfortable, stretchy clothing, which allows us to easily access the area getting tattooed. Please understand that ink splatter may occur which could stain your clothing in the process. Get plenty of sleep the night before and stay hydrated. Bring a sugary drink with you if you are concerned about the pain.

Each piece will be priced by your artist. The price will be based on a number of variables including size, placement, colour, and the level of detail in the design itself. All pieces that will take longer than three hours to complete will be priced by the hour.

Under QLD state law, it is illegal to tattoo any persons under age and Chalice is an 18+ venue, so please do not bring your children to your appointment.

We are a cash only studio. There is a Commonwealth ATM right next door should you need.

We will NOT tattoo anyone under the influence of alcohol, or drugs, as it impacts people's ability to give consent and interferes with the tattoo process.

Although we do accept walk ins, the best way to ensure you will see the artist you want is to book in advanced. The best way to book is to fill out the contact form on this website, and we will be in touch to make a time for you. The more information you can give us about the tattoo you would like, the easier it will be for us to book you in.

Deposits are essential for any tattoo booking. The deposit will be between $50 and $150 and will be used to secure your appointment. The deposit will be taken off the final price of your tattoo on the day. Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE. However, if you need to reschedule, please give us more than 48 hours notice and we will be able to transfer your deposit to your next appointment.

There is 2 hour street parking available and all day street parking on the bottom of Martha Street.
